The following questions and answers make clear what is involved in our process of designing a package specifically for you.

What are Online Design Packages?

We decided to make design available to everyone and the best way for us to do that was to create an online design experience.  It’s a step by step process to provide you with fantastic solutions to suit you, your home, your lifestyle and perhaps your business.  There are no home visits necessary – saving you time and money.  And all payment is up front via PayPal’s secure system, keeping everything safe and sound for you and for us too.  You have 90 days from the date you purchase your design package to engage with us and kick start your design project.

How did you manage to make design packages so affordable?

It is important for us to keep our design fee as low as possible so that we can offer you great value. It is our aim to help make your home not just an improved environment but the place that you absolutely love and feel totally comforted and nurtured. Or perhaps you are a new business in need of an identity or a design solution for your office or shop – no matter what it is you have in mind, we decided that our online packages should create a bespoke solution that’s right for you.

We sat around our boardroom table discussing many practical ways in which we could do this. This resulted in our customised design packages that include all that you need to enable you take the steps of changing your home and/or business in the best ways possible.

By choosing our online packages you become part of the Design Team – how exciting! You return the Fact Finder consultation questionnaire, along with all relevant information and we beginning the creative process. And because there are no house visits we eliminate travel expenses and charging you for that surplus time. Upon completion, we will digitally send you all completed work by email – saving you time, money and stress.

Will my Room Design be exclusively mine?

Yes – we are designing your chosen package with precision, care and attention to detail to suit you exclusively.  From the information that you provide to us in the Design Fact Finder questionnaire, along with any additional information, we produce outcomes that are unique to you and your requirements.

What is included in a Room Design package?

What is included in an Energy Analysis Consultation?

By purchasing an Energy Analysis Consultation package you engage with our highly skilled professionals to focus on a Life Area that you feel needs boosted in a positive direction. There are nine life areas to choose from; WELL-BEING, HEALTH, PROSPERITY, CAREER, RELATIONSHIPS, SUCCESS, SUPPORT, CREATIVITY, and PERSONAL GROWTH.

Once your purchase is complete you will find a link to download your Energy Analysis package information in your inbox of the email address you provide at the point of purchase.

Included is your Energy Analysis Fact Finder questionnaire, and simple step by step set of instructions on what to do next. When you have completed everything and sent it all back to us, we then have the green light to begin the Energy Analysing process.

In a nutshell, you select your package, and we find the solutions, fixes and small adjustments for your home while you sit back and relax.

Our findings and conclusions are set out in a personalised, ‘Energy Analysed‘ presentation PDF booklet that is easy to follow and understand. You will receive this in digital format by email. No hassle, no stress.

If I want to purchase a Room Design package or Room Design Plus after I have an Energy Analysis can I do so?

Yes certainly.  Should you decide to advance onto a Room Design or a Room Design Plus package we will be delighted to continue working with you and we’ll provide a special discount.

What is a Space Planning package and who is it right for?

Working face to face with an architect can be costly – and we are very happy to work with you face to face should that be your preference and if it is, please email us: hello@boldfineline.com. Additionally, our online Space Planning packages are designed to save you time and money and with Space Planning Plus along with all you get in the Space Plannng package we also send you the proposed architecture in digital format so that you can pass it directly onto an architect local to you who will 1. check that the room dimensions you originally provide us with are correct and 2. based on your proposed Bold Fine Line floor plan a final drawing is created specifically for building work approvals to be carried out in your home.

Basically, we do the creative thinking and your local architect will submit his/her finalised drawing to your local authority on your behalf.

Our space planning packages provide you with architectural solutions for your home. In order to make the very best use of space in your home sometimes a wall should be removed, a staircase relocated, or perhaps it’s time for a complete reinvention.

We take into account all the feedback you provide to us in the Design Fact Finder questionnaire and then we assess your home keeping in mind everything that you tell us. This information is then translated into architectural changes to improve the ways in which you use your home and how you feel about it.

Space planning is a great step in the right direction should you be considering changes or wanting to get more from your home; improving how you eat, sleep, work and communicate with other occupants. Your home should support your well-being, healthy relationships and be the place that renews your senses, outlook on life and happiness.

What is included in a Room Review & Reuse Consultation?

After purchasing a Room Review & Reuse Consultation package, you will immediately receive a link by email to download your step by step instructions on what to do next. Once you have completed everything and sent it all back to us, we will assess your information and take into account the current conditions of your room.

We will then produce an expert analysis of your room. This evaluation will provide you with a Professional Design Review, suggesting three design recommendations based on what we think can be improved to enhance and make the most of your space.

+ Please allow 15 days for email delivery of your completed consultation from the date we receive the information back from you

If I order a Room Review & Reuse Consultation will the cost be deducted if I decide to then go on and purchase a Room Design package or a Space Planning Package?

Yes, we will happily deduct the cost of the Room Review & Reuse Consultation from a Room Design Plus or a Room Design package or a Space Planning Plus or a Space Planning package.

+ we will offset the cost of this Room Review & Reuse Consultation against our online Room Design Plus or Room Design or a Space Planning Plus or a Space Planning package should you which to advance.

What is included in a Colour Consultation?

Straight after your purchase of a Colour Consultation? is complete an email will be sent to the address you provide at the point of purchase. You will find a link to download your Design Fact Finder consultation questionnaire and a step by step set of instructions. Once you have filled out the Design Fact Finder, send it along with any other information we request and we can then analyse your room and begin the process of selecting the perfect colour combinations for you.

A professional colour palette’s is created – your palette has two applications showing the options of colour that will suit and work great in your room. We’ll advise you on the appropriate colour arrangements according to our professional opinions but of course you can use your discretion to select colour from your palette to apply which you prefer, to where you would like.

If I want to purchase a Room Design Plus or Room Design package, after I have a Colour Consultation can I have the cost offset against it?

Yes certainly. Should you decide to advance to an online Room Design Plus or Room Design package we will gladly deduct the cost of your colour consultation from the cost of a Room Design Plus or Room Design package

How do I implement my Room Design once I have my completed designs?

When your finalised room design package has been emailed to you, there are various ways to initiate your design at home however, for the best outcome it is our suggestion that you first of all think about your budget – once you have a fixed amount of money secured, take your Design My World booklet along to a supplier of furniture etc. Show them your designs and let them know how much you want to spend. They will then match your design as closely as possible to the ranges of furniture that they have available. Keep in mind the budget that you tell them and discuss your desired design outcomes from the concept you have in your Design My World booklet.

Or should you purchase a Room Design Plus package then you will have a shopping list created that provides links to suppliers. Nothing on the your shopping list is mandatory – it is there for your consideration.

Where do I buy the products featured in my Room Design?

As we suggest in the question above, take your Design My World booklet to whichever supplier best suits your budget and they will match up your design as closely as they can so that you have items that best suit the overall design, design style and the money you want to spend.

You should visit various suppliers until you are fully satisfied with the items that are available to match your designs. Remember that you can purchase from as many suppliers as you want for example you may find the perfect furniture in one store and your flooring in another. The important thing is to enjoy this interior design experience and let the professionals help you along the way.

Or should you purchase a Room Design Plus package then you will have a shopping list created that provides links to suppliers. Nothing on the your shopping list is mandatory – it is there for your consideration.

How long will it take until I receive my online package?

A Small Business package; identiy and interior design:

+ Timeline from the date we receive all the relevant information returned from you: 4-6 wks

Colour Consultation and Room Review & Reuse Consultation:

+ Timeline from the date we receive all the relevant information returned from you: 15 days

An Energy Analysis package, Room Design and Room Design Plus, Space Planning and Space Planning Plus:

+ Timeline from the date we receive all the relevant information returned from you: 30 days

What if I don't like something that you select for my new Room Design?

It is our priority to ensure that you are completely happy with our creations for your interior design package.  Therefore we will gladly alter the design to suit your needs.

I'd like to keep some or most of my existing furniture. Can you create a new design based around what I already have?

Yes – absolutely. We can considerately integrate your existing furniture into a new design for your room. Or we can use some items to work with proposed new items. You send us photos of the furniture and items you would prefer to keep along with the measurements and we’ll provide your design solutions incorporating each of them.

Can I ask you follow-up questions relating to my design?

Yes, we are willing, helpful, friendly designers who are happy to answer your questions.  It is important to us that you are fully satisfied, happy and understand your completed design.

If I don't want to send you photos or room measurements, can I still order a Room Design package?

Yes, sure this is no problem.  It just means that you will have Room Design based upon a generic set out instead of a customised design.

What happens to my personal information and photos?

As set out in our Terms and Conditions, the personal information that you send to us for the purpose of creating your design package(s) will remain totally private and will never be shared with other companies or third parties.

Occasionally our projects are featured online and in offline publications where drawings and/or photos are showcased for the better understanding of our design process.  In this instance we do not include or display any names or private/personal information.

Which countries do Bold Fine Line offer Design packages to?

We are international and work throughout the world in all countries.  The online packages give us the accessibility to reach far and wide, allowing us to work with you, no matter where you are.

How do I pay for an Online Package?

+ select which package you would like, and place your order in our shop

+ you will then be directed to PayPal to complete your purchase securely. You don’t need to have a PayPal account to complete your order, as you can still pay via PayPal using your debit or credit card – see the image for reference

+ thereafter, your payment confirmation will be sent to the email address that you provide via PayPal, along with the link from us to access your Fact Finder consultation questionnaire, and step by step instructions on what to do next.

The prices are all shown in British Pounds (GBP) - can I pay in my own currency?

The cost for your order will be charged in British Pound Sterling but will be converted into whichever currency is appropriate for your location. For example if you are in the USA then your bank or vendor will adopt the charged in dollars or if you are in Europe your payment will be converted to Euros by your bank. You may also wish to pay using Bitcoin. PayPal will direct you in what to do and your payment will be automatically presented to you in your local currency before completing your purchase.

Do you have a Guarantee Policy?

We are professional Interior Designers and Architects who assist and provide you with a professional design service from beginning to end. Our combined expertise, knowledge and experience is highly sought-after, therefore we are confident that each design package that leaves our design studio is a fully coherent product that will enable you to implement the new design into your home.

If you feel dissatisfied, based on your explanation and concerns we will modify the design to better meet your expectations – you have ‘2 rounds of revision’ included in the overall cost of a Bold Fine Line design package.  If you are still unhappy, we will gladly assign time to redesign your room.  For this you will need to resubmit a new Design Fact Finder questionnaire, and provide us with with further information regarding your vision, design taste, likes, dislikes to enable us to produce a design package that you are fully happy with.
We certainly don’t want you to feel unhappy or stressed out regarding your design package, so please contact us by email outlining your concerns within 30 days of receiving your completed design.

What does a 'revision' mean?

A ‘revision’ to your design could be something addtional to be added e.g. an after thought that you had and would like to see it included or perhaps after seeing the final presentation you would like something modified or removed.  These are examples of what a revision is.  It is very useful for you as our client to have a final say and we look forward to attending to your design requirments.

Can I hire you as my interior designer/architect for my home for an offline project?
